Sydney trike tour adventure – Andrew + Shelley 08.04.25

It looks like we have put this review in the wrong place. However, it only arrived in our inbox today (15 May). It’s lovely to think the passengers have still be thinking about us and that they needed to write the review, 6 weeks later. They were on a long cruise!!

🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢 Review: Eastern Sydney Panorama trike tour
We booked this tour during a port stop on our cruise. The tour operator (Katrina, Troll Tours) was amazing with communication and gave us instructions where to meet our guide Fred, which was only a short walk from the pier. Fred gave us the option to choose our own stops but we left it up to him and he did a fantastic job.

Fred took us around the city to some of the more popular sights, but also gave us a look at places most tourists don’t visit. We saw the Opera House and Bondi beach but also the residence of the prime minister. We even had a photo op with the immigration minister who was outside.

The tour was set to be 2 hours but ours lasted much longer than that since the group after us cancelled. Fred asked if we had to be back early and because we didn’t he gave us an extra long tour.

At the end of our tour we opted to take the ferry back across to the ship and Fred dropped us at the terminal. Within a few moments he was back because he realized that the ferry workers were striking at that hour and we would be waiting for almost two hours for a ride. He came back, picked us up and brought us back to the ship. He went above and beyond for us.

Fred was also our photographer for the day and took lots of photos which he sent to us at the end of the tour. He even went down to the port at our sail away time, long after our tour ended, to take pictures of the ship leaving. Fred has a side line as a photographer so the shots he sent us were amazing. It was one of our favourite excursions of our entire trip.
