Children’s holiday camp Sydney – Riverview 06.12.25

We have been providing trike rides at the Children’s holiday camp Sydney, since 2014. Every year for 11 years except during the pandemic.

Ignatian Children’s Holiday Camp

The Ignatian Children’s Holiday Camp is an annual event. We send two trikes to their fair day on the Saturday. It is organised for children who come to the camp at the school. The riders enjoy watching the happy faces as well.

It is an annual four day holiday camp for approx 30 boys and girls between the age of 5 & 15 who have intellectual and physical disabilities. It gives children opportunities they might not otherwise experience. We think it’s wonderful what this and the Sony Foundation does.

Our trike riders take the children and adults around the school area. The rides were so popular they both kept going non-stop for 3 hours each.

Saint Ignatius’ College, Riverview

Saint Ignatius’ College, Riverview is an independent single-sex primary and secondary day and boarding school for boys, conducted in the Jesuit tradition, located in Riverview, a small suburb situated on the Lane Cove River on the Lower North Shore of Sydney, NSW.

Lower North Shore

The Lower North Shore refers to the northern suburbs of Sydney adjoining Sydney Harbour. The three bodies of water that surround the Lower North Shore are Lane Cove River on its western border, Sydney Harbour on its south side, and Middle Harbour on its east. The area borders the Upper North Shore when the Lane Cover River and Middle Harbour are at their closest.

However, after 3 hours of short / mini rides in 38˚c heat (last year it was pouring with rain), the riders were ready for a break. In conclusion, the Children’s holiday camp Sydney was successful yet again. The kids and adults loved the fun experience.
