Karyn 06.09.19 – Harley tour birthday gift

Harley tour birthday gift

Karyn’s son bought her the Harley tour birthday gift. She was so excited! Karyn caught the train into Circular Quay and met our Harley rider, Phil, there.

Sydney Harbour Bridge

After the introductions, Phil rode over the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. It really is a work of art and well worth a look under the arches. Look up to see the rivets and the architecture.

Next, they stopped at Blues Point for a look. From here, the view across Sydney Harbour to the bridge and the Opera House is breath taking.

Kirribilli Loop

After that, they stopped for photos at Jeffrey St Wharf in Kirribilli. Similarly, the view from here is also breath taking. The same view but from a different angle. They continued on and did the Kirribilli Loop. This takes you under the northern end of the Harbour Bridge.

Bradleys Head

Not far from here is Bradleys Head, is a headland protruding from the north shore of Sydney Harbour, In addition, it has a great view of the harbour and is a vantage point when the fireworks are on in the harbour. Often, as you ride past Taronga Zoo on the way to Bradleys Head, you can see the koalas eating their eucalyptus leaves.

Balmoral Beach

They rode on to Balmoral Beach, another famous area of Sydney. The locality is mostly known for its beach and the expensive residential real estate. Not far from here is the Spit lookout, similarly, it has beautiful views. Ride over the Spit Bridge to the lookout. These views are of various bays and waterways near the Heads of Sydney Harbour.

However, time was up so they rode back to Circular Quay. Karyn had such a wonderful Harley tour birthday gift. In other words, she will be thanking her son for such a great memory.
