The Harley 3 Bridges tour was organised by Shone for herself and her mum. They are in Sydney on holidays from Ireland. Mum was a very reluctant participant, but after she finally relaxed enjoyed the ride. Phil + Jungle picked them up from Circular Quay and rode them over the Sydney Harbour Bridge. They stopped for photos with the famous Australian icons – the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. They continued on and did the Kirribilli Loop and the Harley 3 Bridges tour.

This meant they drove through the lower north shore to the inner west and the Gladesville Bridge. When it was completed in 1964, Gladesville Bridge was the longest single span concrete arch ever constructed. That is an impressive achievement. They rode over the Gladesville Bridge onto the main arterial road which is Victoria Road. A few kilometres further on they turned off it and rode along “the Bay Run”. It is a 7 km walking and bicycle track which meanders around the Parramatta River and Iron Cove Bay.

Then onto the incredible ANZAC Bridge, it is wonderful to look at without the roof of a vehicle obstructing the view. They were then dropped off back at Circular Quay.

“Hi Katrina,
Had a fantastic day with Jungle George and Phil, in fact just talking about it now… Yes, feel free to share those photos. I LOVED it and just wish it had lasted more than 1 hour…

Another Harley tour bucket list tick from a happy passenger. Nic is an Irish lass living in N.Z. and in Sydney to visit her brother. Phil picked her up from her city hotel and took her on the ride of a lifetime! They rode over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, around the Kirribilli Loop and back over the bridge. Then to the Eastern Suburbs, the lovely Centennial Park, Bronte, Tamarama, Bondi Beach, Rose Bay, Double, Rushcutters Bay, Kings Cross, Woolloomooloo, and finish at the Domain.

Nic saw so much in two hours and the feeling of freedom really makes the experience so much fun.

Carol + Ray’s family bought them a 50th wedding anniversary trike tour. They bought it as a gift voucher so the ride could be organised on a date that was suitable. Craig picked them up from a car park on the north side of Sydney. This way they could do all of the 3 Bridges tour because their home was too far away. If we had picked them at home they could only have done a small section of it within the time frame.

So Craig drove them on the 3 Bridges ride, over the 3 most important bridges in Sydney. The Sydney Harbour Bridge, where they stopped for photos and did the Kirribilli Loop so they drove under the bridge. Then they headed west so they ended up at the Gladesville Bridge with its wonderful view over the Parramatta River towards the Sydney Harbour Bridge. They continued on to the wonderful ANZAC Bridge, it really is impressive. Craig dropped them back at their car when the ride was finished. A 50th wedding anniversary trike tour is a great way to celebrate. It doesn’t have to be a 50th, it could be any anniversary or even a wedding present!

They wrote to us the same day:

Hi there Katrina ,

We had a wonderful tour of the bridges and lots of gorgeous backstreets , the weather was superb and so were the jacarandas! Craig was a gem and it was a pleasure doing business with you all.

Thank you and we will definitely recommend you

Kindest regards
Carol and Ray

Bev’s husband bought her a Harley tour around Sydney. Perry picked her up from their hotel in the Eastern Suburbs and rode her around the city. They went over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and did the Kirribilli Loop. The scenery is beautiful across the harbour towards the Sydney Opera House. It also has an unusual view of the Harbour Bridge and includes a ride under the bridge. It never fails to impress us and we are locals who regularly drive around here.

The Harley tour Bondi Beach Sydney was another tick on Patricia’s bucket list. Phil picked her up from in the city and rode her around the lovely Centennial Park and along the eastern suburbs and some of  its beaches. They rode past Bronte, Tamarama, Bondi Beach. Then to Rose Bay, Double Bay, Rushcutters Bay, Kings Cross, Woolloomooloo and back. Patricia had a wonderful time. There is nothing like the feeling of freedom that you experience from the back of a Harley.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge trike ride was the tour of choice for Sam + Siobhan. Craig met them at Circular Quay and they toured around the Royal Botanical Gardens via Mrs Macquarie’s Chair. Then over the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Blues Point Reserve, then Jeffery’s Wharf and around the Kirribilli Loop. They had time to ride up to Cremorne before returning over the Bridge and back to Circular Quay.

It was a beautiful day for a ride and Sydney showed off her best. The trike tour was a great experience and a fun way to see the major sights of Sydney.

A Sydney trike exploration tour was a great experience for our Irish passengers to do. It showed them areas of Sydney they wouldn’t have seen otherwise. It also gives them an orientation of how the city is laid out.

Craig picked them up at the Shangri La Hotel in the Rocks for the Eastern Panorama ride. We toured via Kings Cross, Rose Bay on to Watsons Bay. Then to Bondi,  Bronte and cut through Centennial Park before returning to the hotel.

A 90th birthday trike ride was just what Lloyd wanted. His family gave him a Gift Voucher for it so he could organise a time which suited him and when he was feeling well. Craig picked the passengers up from his home in the eastern suburbs. They toured past Maroubra, Coogee, Clovelly and onto Bronte beach before returning home.

It was a wonderful experience and not stressful or strenuous for a 90 year old. Another tick on the bucket list.

The Eastern Suburbs is the metropolitan region directly to the east and south-east of the CBD of Sydney. It extends from the peninsula of South Head at Watsons Bay to the suburb of La Perouse in the south. A distance of approx 21kms. It includes famous areas such as Kings Cross, Cenntennial Park, Moore Park and Paddingon.

Liz bought Len a Beach Beauty birthday trike tour gift voucher. She bought it for him last year and they finally worked out a date to use it. They come from the central coast which is about 93kms north of Sydney. They drove down to Beacon Hill in Sydney where Craig, our trike rider picked them up. He picked them up at Beacon Hill then rode to Clontarf and Dobroyd Headland.  Dobroyd Headland has wonderful views towards both North and South Head. Craig then drove them up the coast via the northern beaches, stopping at Mona Vale beach for a bite of lunch.

The return to their car at Beacon Hill was via Mccarrs Creek Road. Mccarrs Creek Road goes through part of the southern area of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and is a lovely scenic, green area.

The Southern Spectacular trike tour sounded like fun and something different to do. This tour does show people parts of Sydney that most visitors to our city don’t get to see. Brian picked up our passengers from outside Sydney University. He drove them through the southern suburbs of Sydney to the beautiful Royal National Park. They stopped at Bald Hill for photos and drink break, then headed down Stanwell, over the Sea Cliff Bridge. It is a beautiful part of the coast. They then headed back into the city where Brian dropped them off at Haymarket.

The Royal National Park is Australia’s first National Park and after Yellowstone in the U.S.A. was the second National Park in the world to be established. If you are looking for something different to experience and something different to see, this just might be the tour for you.
