Gillian + Peter 06.09.19 – North Shore Trike Tour
Craig picked up Gillian and her husband to do the North Shore Trike Tour. They were staying in Greenwich, a lower north shore suburb of Sydney.
Jeffrey Street Wharf, Kirribilli
Firstly, they rode to Jeffrey Street Wharf, Kirribilli. From here, there are beautiful views across Sydney Harbour to the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.
Lower north shore
After that, they rode through the lower north shore suburbs of Neutral Bay and Mosman. Mosman is an affluent harbourside suburb where well-heeled locals frequent the boutiques and bistros along Military Road.
Koalas
Often our passengers can see koalas eating their gum leaves as they rode past the Zoo. Similarly, they may be sleeping in one of the gum tree forks. This road leads to Bradleys Head, a peninsula in Sydney Harbour. It also has beautiful Sydney CBD views. For instance, across the harbour to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
the Spit Bridge
From there we went past the lovely and posh Balmoral Beach. Continuing on Military Road, they rode over the Spit Bridge. The Spit Bridge is a steel and concrete girder bridge with a bascule liftspan across the Middle Harbour, Tania Park was the next stop, with its beautiful views across the harbour and through the heads.
However, time was up so Craig returned to Greenwich and dropped them off. In conclusion, the North Shore Trike Tour was a huge success. Most importantly, they saw more than they dreamed they would. They did extend the time frame for the tour from the one on our website.

Balmoral Beach, in Middle Harbour, is a favourite destination for North Shore residents because of its picturesque sheltered beach set against the green backdrop of Middle Head. It is not so well known by visitors and tourists, but the stunning natural beauty of the beach and surrounds make it well worth a visit.
The beach is situated in Hunters Bay, which is the first body of water inside Middle Harbour. Although the beach backs onto the HMAS Penguin naval base, it’s hard to see the military buildings because of the forest that covers Middle Head.
